There are various schools in the village of Bambui which accommodate around 3,000 primary education students. However, many of these fall short of facilities and do not provide an environment propitious to learning.
In general, they lack in proper infrastructure, sanitary conditions, limited drinking water supply and above all textbooks and didactic materials.
At this moment in time, the Cameroonian Government is not providing teachers or children with books and this has greatly impacted on the level and quality of teaching as well as of learning.
The project aims at providing textbooks to schools and in creating suitable infrastructures for the construction of libraries where they can be kept.
